Frank Brochin

Mr. Brochin brings more than 20 years of public and private equity investment experience in both developed and emerging markets. Prior to joining Berens, Mr. Brochin was the co‐founder and chief investment officer of StoneWater Capital, an asset management firm focused on emerging and frontier markets, in particular Asia. Previously, Mr. Brochin was a partner of Warburg Pincus, a leading global private equity firm, where he led investments in the enterprise software, information technology and communications sectors in the US, Western and Eastern Europe as well as Israel. Earlier in his career, Mr. Brochin spent four years in Tokyo, Japan, as a research engineer with Nippon Telegraph and Telephone and
as the manager of the Advanced Technology Group in Nortel Networks’ Asia Pacific research center. Mr. Brochin holds a B.S. from the École Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications (Paris, France), a Ph.D. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Mr. Brochin has lived in Africa, Asia and Europe. He speaks fluent French and was also published in Japanese.
