Mr. Joseph Zeng (曾晓松先生)is a partner in charge of Greenwoods Asset Management’s Hong Kong office. Greenwoods is one of the largest China managers specializing in managing equity long/short investments into PRC companies listed in HK, China, and the US, based on fundamental research and local due diligence.
Before joining Greenwoods, Mr. Zeng was an investment banker with JPMorgan, covering the IPOs and M&As of China banks, insurers, and asset managers. Prior to that Mr. Zeng was an equity analyst covering Chinese banks for JP Morgan, when his team was ranked the #2 Asia financial research team in the poll of Institutional Investors. Before that he was a Vice President at Bank of China in New York and managed a $2 billion credit portfolio.
Mr. Zeng graduated with a Master degree in Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics (LSE), where he was awarded the Robert Fleming scholarship. He also attended the Master of Intl Finance program of the Graduate School of the People‘s Bank of China (中国人民银行)in Beijing. And he earned the bachelor degree in international finance from Wuhan University.
Mr. Zeng was the chairman of the American Alumni Association of the Graduate School of the People’s Bank of China, and the vice chairman of the Hong Kong Alumni Association of the Graduate School of the People’s Bank of China.
