William Ma is the Chief Investment Officer of Noah Holdings (Hong Kong) Limited with overall responsibility for managing the Noah investment team. Prior to Noah, William held the CIO role at Gottex Penjing Asset Management (GPAM), the Asia asset management arm of Gottex Fund Management. At GPAM, William managed $2 billion in client asset and was the lead portfolio manager of all Gottex’s Asian fund of hedge funds. Before GPAM, he was founder and portfolio manager of Penjing Asset Management managing Asian fund of hedge funds. Prior to that, William worked at Vision Investment Management (Asia) Ltd. Previously, he served as a research analyst at HT Capital Management Ltd. William joined the investment industry as an Intern at Merrill Lynch’s San Francisco office in 2001.
